A New Chapter at Club Cottages

Something is happening at Club Cottages in Blythewood, and it's worth paying attention to. Nextar Homes has expanded the floor plan lineup in this quiet, wooded neighborhood along the Columbia Country Club, opening a new section and bringing fresh designs to a community that was already one of Blythewood's best-kept secrets. This new chapter is as much about variety as it is about giving more buyers a reason to take a closer look.

The Setting Hasn't Changed. The Options Have.

Club Cottages is still the same intimate neighborhood it's always been: twenty homesites tucked into the hardwoods beside the Columbia Country Club, with access to golf, fishing, and kayaking just steps away. The streets are quiet. The lots are generous. Richland Two schools, including Round Top Elementary, Blythewood Middle, and Blythewood High, are all nearby.

What has changed is the product. The new floor plan collection now spans seven designs, from compact two-story homes to main-level living layouts, giving buyers at different stages of life a real reason to consider Club Cottages for the first time.

Meet the New Floor Plans

The Bourne | 4 Bed | 3 Bath | 1,537 sq ft

The Bourne is where the new chapter begins, literally. This two-story, four-bedroom plan with a one-car garage is the first to break ground on the new Creekside Cottage Circle section. Three homes are already under construction.

The Chatham | 3 Bed | 2.5 Bath | 1,803 sq ft

The Chatham brings Craftsman character to the neighborhood with over 1,800 square feet of open, light-filled living space. The main level was designed for easy entertaining, with a kitchen that includes a walk-in pantry. Upstairs, the primary suite has its own ensuite bath, two secondary bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath, and the laundry room keeps everything on one floor. Chatham homes are going up on both Creekside Cottage Circle and Dogwood Cottage Court.

The Westfield | 3 Bed | 2.5 Bath | 1,808 sq ft

The Westfield is a 1.5-story design with the primary bedroom on the main floor and a two-car garage. It's nearly the same square footage as the Chatham, but the layout philosophy is different: this one is built around main-level living, with flexible space upstairs for guests or a home office.

The Plymouth | 5 Bed | 3 Bath | 2,245 sq ft

The largest plan in the community. The Plymouth is a five-bedroom, two-story home with a two-car garage, a loft upstairs, and a guest suite with a full bath on the main level. At 2,245 square feet, it was designed for families who need the space and for homeowners who like having a dedicated room for visitors.

The Cambridge | Main-Floor Primary

A main-level living design with the primary suite on the first floor. One Cambridge home has already sold at 228 Quiet Side Court. Full specs are coming soon.

The Dedham | Main-Floor Primary

Another main-floor primary layout. Two Dedham homes are currently available on Quiet Side Court with reduced summer pricing.

The Medford | Main-Floor Primary

The Medford rounds out the main-level living options with approximately 2,001 square feet. Full specs are coming soon.

The New Section Is Already Taking Shape

This isn't a teaser for something down the road. Construction on Creekside Cottage Circle and Dogwood Cottage Court is underway right now. Homes in the new section are framing up, and select homes on Quiet Side Court have been reduced for summer move-in. With only twenty total homesites in the community, the window to get in at this stage of the neighborhood's story is a narrow one.
