Description
The concept of the prestigious WildeWood community originated in Memphis, Tennessee, by Heath Manning. Manning discovered the beautiful WildeWood in Memphis while playing polo. The first home was built in Columbia's WildeWood in 1967 and the community covers approximately 1600 acres, and is buffered by Sesqui-Centennial State Park, spanning an additional 1500 acres. WildeWood is known for luxury homes, high-end townhomes, and a retirement community. There are approximately 1100 homes with square footage from 1800 to over 8,000 square feet. Located in what was once the outskirts of Columbia, WildeWood is now part of the city's prosperous metropolitan area. Lifestyle amenities include swimming, tennis, the golf course and country club.
